Key Features of the Scheme:
- Monthly monitoring support: The selected candidates will receive a stipend from their respective companies of up to INR 500. The central government of India will also provide each intern with INR 4500. If the companies choose to provide more than INR 500, they may do so.
- Fund transfer: In addition to their stipend from their respective companies, the selected candidates will receive financial benefits from the Government of India. The funds will be transferred directly to the designated candidate’s bank account through the DBT process.
- Incidental grants: Following their admission to the firm for the internship, all intenses will get a one-time payment of INR 6000 from the Government of India.
- Insurance facilities: As part of the Pradhan Mantri Jivan Jyoti Bima Yojana, the Indian government will also offer insurance coverage to every intern.
Partner Firms Requirement:
- The Indian government will choose the top 500 firms for the program based on their average corporate social responsibility spending over the previous three years.
- The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) must grant permission to any other firm that wants to take part in the internship program.
- If a business is unable to provide young people with internship opportunities directly, they may connect via their forward or backward supply chains.
- By establishing their terms and conditions, the corporations can also collaborate with a variety of other businesses inside their group.

Candidates should fall into the eligibility criteria to take advantage of the Scheme:
- The applicant is an Indian permanent resident.
- The young person must be between the ages of 21 and 24.
- The youth may apply if they are enrolled in any online or distance learning program.
- The candidates must have completed their senior secondary education and hold a polytechnic institute diploma or ITI certificate.
- A genuine degree in one of the following areas must be held by the candidates: BA, B.Sc., BBA, B.com, or B.Pharma.

Key Points to keep in mind:
- The plan is not open to graduates of IITs, ILMs, National Law Universities, USER, NIDs, or IllTs.
- those with credentials such as a master’s degree or above, an MBA, a CMA, CS, MBBS, or a BDS are not eligible.
- Â The National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) or the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) at any time after completing the apprenticeship program are not eligible.
- For the fiscal year 2023–24, the chosen applicant is ineligible if their family’s yearly income surpasses INR 8 lakh.
- If any family members work for the government on a regular or permanent basis are not eligible.
