Upon her arrival, she discovered her husband in good health, surrounded by friends and family. Realizing her mistake in breaking the fast too soon, Veeravati filled with sorrow. She prayed to the Goddess for forgiveness and her husband’s well-being. The Goddess appeared to her, instructing her to observe the fast once more and to carry out the rituals with sincerity.

Veeravati heeded the Goddess’s guidance, fasting for an additional day and performing the required rituals. The Goddess, pleased with her unwavering devotion, restored her husband’s health and blessed them with a long and joyful life together.
