What is CCMT ?

Centralised Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan (CCMT) is a centralised platform for PG admissions in M.Tech and related courses.
It considers GATE scores of the previous three years for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for CCMT 2024:

Requirements GATE Qualification : Must have a valid GATE score in 2021/2022/2023/2024.

Qualifying Degree

• Candidates must have passed with a minimum of 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC.
• For SC/ST/PwD candidates, a minimum of 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% is required.
• Provisional admission is allowed if the result of the qualifying degree is awaited, with the condition that all exams should be completed by August 2024.

Eligibility Criteria : Each program has its own eligibility criteria based on specific combinations of degree disciplines and GATE paper.

Additional Certifications/Qualifications : Candidates holding certificates/qualifications from recognized professional societies (such as IE, ICE, IETE, AeSI, IIChemE, IIM, IIE, etc.) may also be eligible for some PG programs through CCMT participation.

Fee Structure for CCMT 2024 :

• Registration Fee: Rs 3000 for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC and Rs 2500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
• Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF): Rs 30,000 for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC and Rs 10,000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

Stages of CCMT 2024:

1. Online Registration: Candidates register on the CCMT website, pay the registration fee, and select their preferred institutions.

2. Counselling Rounds: There are three rounds of counselling where seat allotment, fee deposit, document verification, and willingness submission take place.

3. Document Verification: Online verification of documents and final admission at the allotted institute.
