The Kerala Plus One Admission 2025 process was started on May 14, 2025, at 4 PM by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE). Students who are interested can apply online through the official portal – hscap.kerala.gov.in.

The application period is only for six days and the last date to submit the Kerala Plus One Application 2025 is May 20, 2025. For successful admission process applicants are required to fill out the form and upload all necessary documents. The trial allotment is scheduled for May 24 2025, which is followed by the first, second, and third allotments on June 2, 10, and 16, respectively.

The classes for the academic year 2025–2026 will start from the June 18, 2025. Whereas the Kerala SSLC result was declared on May 9, 2025, and the Plus Two results are expected to release on May 21, 2025. Submitting Kerala Plus One Application 2025:

Total Seats Available for Higher Secondary Admission :

Eligibility Criteria: Kerala Plus One Admission 2025

• From any recognized board – State, CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, Foreign boards, must have cleared the 10th grade.

• As of June 1, 2025, the age limit is 15 to 20 years.

• For SC/ST candidates the age relaxation is up to 22 years.

• For visually/hearing impaired or intellectually challenged the age relaxation is up to 25 years.

• Only the Kerala board students are exempted from the minimum age criteria.

• Upon request, students from other boards may get 6-month age relaxation.

HSCAP Kerala Plus One Additional Admission Seats 2025–26

• For the academic year 2025–26, the Kerala government has increased the number of seats for HSCAP Plus One admission .

• Government schools will now have a 30% seat increase.

• Aided schools will now have a 20% seat increase.

• This year, a total of 64,040 additional seats are available.

• Including 17,290 seats from last year, the total number of seats for HSCAP Kerala Plus One 2025–26 now stands at 4,41,887.

• For Vocational Higher Secondary Courses, additionally, 33,030 seats allotted.

After the HSCAP Kerala Plus One Admission :

• For Plus One admission, the Directorate will release three allotment lists.

• For students whose names appear in the allotment list should :

  • Submit their documents for verification.

  • Pay the admission fee as needed to confirm their seat.

• Candidates can wait for the second and third allotment rounds if not selected in the first list.

• By July 23, 2025, the final allotment list, which includes students qualifying through the Plus One Supplementary Exam, will published.
