Ts Lawcet Couneslling Date 2024 [Phase 1st 2nd]

The date of the TS LAWCET 2024 spot round counseling has been published by the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), and registration will open on October 17. Candidates must apply to the appropriate college, as each will have its own schedule. Furthermore, on October 21, TGCHE will open registration for the second round of TS PGLCET 2024 counselling. Application Process for TS LAWCET 2024:

Step 1: Application Fee Payment

  • Proceed to the “Application Fee Payment” section on the official website.
  • Provide basic details like name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, stream/course, qualifying exam details, and payment type (Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or offline payment through TS/AP online centres).
  • Collect the receipt form after fee payment from the payment centre.

 

Step 2: Filling in Detailed Application Form

  • Click on the “Fill Application Form” option on the website.
  • Enter details such as payment reference ID, qualifying examination hall ticket number, mobile number, and date of birth to proceed.
  • Fill in the detailed application form with personal, communication, and other required details.
  • Review all entered information carefully.
  • Click on “Preview/Submit” and then “Confirm/Freeze” to successfully submit the application form.

Documents Required For TS LAWCET 2024

1. Receipt from TS/AP online center.
2. Qualifying exam hall ticket.
3. Birth certificate/SSC certificate.
4. Study or residence certificate to verify local status.
5. Latest income certificate issued by MRO or a competent authority.
6. Caste certificate issued by MRO or a competent authority (with application number for SC/ST applicants).
7. NCC, PH, CAP certificate issued by a competent authority if applicable.
8. Passport-sized photograph (size < 50 KB) and signature (size < 30KB).
9. Aadhar card.
10. Transfer Certificate (TC).
11. Credit/debit cards for online payment.

Eligibility criteria for TS LAWCET 2024

i. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam (Class 12th for 5-year LLB and Final year of graduation for 3-year LLB) are eligible, provided they pass the exam before the counseling begins.

ii. If a candidate scored below the graduation marks of 45%, 42%, and 40%, they must have obtained the same percentage or more in any postgraduate or B.Ed. program.

iii. For admission to law programs, candidates need a minimum of 44.5% aggregate marks in 10+2 for general categories, 41.5% for OBC, and 39.5% for SC/ST categories. These percentages are considered equivalent to 45%, 42%, and 40% respectively.

iv. Candidates who obtained their degrees from open universities, or through private or correspondence settings in one sitting without completing a three-year course are ineligible to apply.

v. There is no age limit for candidates appearing for the TS LAWCET exam.

Questions in Part-C are expected to be answered based on the respective level: Intermediate level/10+2 for 5-year Law Course and Degree Level for 3-year Law Course.
Scoring Each correct answer carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers

TS LAWCET 2024 Merit List:

In case of tie scores among candidates, the following tiebreaker rules will be applied:

1. Higher marks in Part C of the exam will result in a higher rank.
2. If the tie persists, marks obtained in Part B will be taken into consideration.
3. If the tie still remains unresolved, the age of the candidates will be considered, with preference given to the senior candidate during the admission process.

TS LAWCET 2024 Counselling Process:

1. Registration:

  • Candidates must register online for the TS LAWCET 2024 counselling process on the official website.
  • A counselling registration fee is required to be paid online. The fee is Rs. 800 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 500 for SC/ST candidates.

2. Document Verification:

6. Spot Admissions:

  • After completion of the second phase, spot admissions will be announced by individual colleges.
