Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved Unified Pension Scheme, which aims to provide pensions to government employees. This scheme will effective from 1st April 2025. Government employees who work for 25 years will get an assured pension. Employees who have completed their 10 years of work will receive Rs.10,000 per month. UPS will benefit 23 lakh central government employees. If 90 lakh state government employees join this scheme they will also benefit. National Pension Scheme has implemented for government employees, not for armed forces who join central government. Retired government employees received 50% of their salary as a monthly pension. Interested candidates can register under this portal via online mode.

How to Register Under Unified Pension Scheme 2024

  • ย Visit official website of eNPS website via enps.nsdl.com
  • On homepage, select “National Pension System” option and click on “Registration.”
  • If you choose via Aadhaar card confirm your identity using OTP sent to your registered mobile device.
  • If you choose PAN card choose your bank and continue with the process.
  • Complete your application form with your personal information, contact details, and bank account information. –
  • Upload scanned necessary documents along with a recent photograph.
  • Pay your application fee and click on ”Submit” button.
  • After registration, you will receive a PRAN card a unique 12-digit number, which will be essential for all NPS-related transactions.
  • Log in to NPS CRA website via cra-nsdl.com using your PRAN and password, where you can manage your account.
  • You can check your Pension details.
