Indian Army Agniveer Allowances
During their 4-year service period, agniveers in the Indian Army are eligible for the following allowances:

Agniveers are entitled to multiple benefits upon completion of service and during tenure including:

Opportunities for Permanent Enrolment

Post-Service Opportunity :

AGNIVEERs may apply for permanent enrolment in the Indian Army, after completing four years of service.

During the four-year period, applications will reviewed centrally based on performance.

May enrolled in the regular cadre, up to 25% of each specific batch of AGNIVEERs.

Eligibility Criteria

Marital Status:

For enrolment as AGNIVEERs – only unmarried candidates are eligible.

During the four-year engagement period, AGNIVEERs must agree not to marry.
