Ap Eamcet Counselling Dates 2024

The APSCHE is expected to start the AP EAMCET 2024 counselling process around August 2024. The AP EAMCET 2024 counselling procedure involves registration, payment of counselling fees, document verification, web options entry, seat allotment, and reporting to the college. The AP EAMCET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from May 13 to 19, 2024. All the updates regarding AP EAMCET counselling 2024 will be available on the website ets.apsche.ap.gov.in. Candidates who qualify the AP EAMCET exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.

What is AP EAMCET or EAPCET ?

Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test, commonly called as EAMCET, is an entrance examination held separately in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for admission into various colleges across both the states in the streams of Engineering, Medicine and Agriculture.

Complete Procedure of APCET Registration to Admission :

Step 1: Registration and Payment of Processing Fee

1. Visit sche.ap.gov.in and click on EAPCET Admissions.
2. Fill in the Registration form with EAPCET 2024 Hall Ticket No and Date of Birth.
3. Verify the details and proceed to the processing fee payment gateway.
4. Pay the processing fee online using credit card/ debit card/net banking.
5. Note the transaction reference ID for future reference.

Step 2: Document Verification

1. The authorities will conduct document verification for candidates who paid the counselling fee.
2. Verification may be conducted online or offline for candidate’s convenience.
3. Candidates whose certificates were already verified online need not upload any certificates.

3rd Step : Status of Document Verification

1. Check certificate verification status using hall ticket number and date of birth.
2. Candidates verified online will be eligible for option entry.
3. Candidates not verified online need to upload documents during registration.

Step 4: Option Entry

• Log in again for option entry on scheduled dates.
• Select preferred colleges and courses in order of preference.

Step 5: Allotment of Seats

7. EWS certificate valid for the year 2024-25 from MeeSeva for OC candidates claiming reservation under EWS category.
8. Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the Qualifying examination (Inter or its equivalent) for Private candidates.
9. Andhra Pradesh Residence Certificate of father/mother for 10 years, excluding the period of employment outside Andhra Pradesh, from Tahsildar for Non-Local Candidates.
10. Integrated Community Certificate, in the case of BC/ST/SC issued by the competent authority.
11. Income certificate of parents from all sources issued on or after 01.01.2020 or White Ration card (candidate name and either of the parent’s name have to be reflected in the ration card) for those claiming tuition fee reimbursement.
12. Local status certificate (if applicable) – A candidate who migrates to any part of the state of Andhra Pradesh from the state of Telangana from 02-June-2014 to on/before June 1, 2024, shall be regarded as the local candidate in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

AP EAMCET Exam Pattern 2024:

1. The AP EAMCET 2024 exam pattern has been detailed on the official website. It is a Computer Based Test (Online) conducted in English and Telugu mediums. The duration is 180 minutes, consisting of 160 multiple-choice questions. The subjects covered include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with no negative marking.
2. The question paper comprises 100 objective (multiple-choice only) type questions, each carrying one mark, totaling to 100 marks. The duration of the entrance tests for all subjects is 90 minutes. There is no penalty for incorrect answers.
3. The entrance test will include three or four types of objective items, such as analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of research studies/experiments/theoretical perspectives, etc., with multiple answers, in addition to the regular multiple-choice items. These items will only be based on the syllabus of the entrance test.
