Ap icet Counselling Dates 2025

The AP ICET 2025 examination is scheduled for May 6th and 7th, 2025 (tentative). The registration process commenced on March 6th, 2025, (tentative)on the official website of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The application window for APICET 2025 closed on April 7th, 2025 (tentative) without any late fees. However, candidates have the option to submit their application forms with late fees until April 27th, 2025 (tentative). The examination will take place on Monday, May 6, 2025, and Tuesday, May 7, 2025, (tentative). There will two sessions held each day, from 09:00 AM to 11:30 AM and from 02:30 PM to 05:00 PM. Introduction :

– The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET-2025) is organised by Sri Krishnadevaraya University under the auspices of the A.P. State Council of Higher Education.
– The test facilitates admission into the first year of Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs in university constituent and affiliated colleges for the academic year 2025-26.

Applying for AP ICET-2025 :

– Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

– Test centres are predetermined, and candidates can select 3 to 4 preferred centres from the available options.

AP ICET-2025 Important Dates :

Eligibility to appear for AP ICET-2025 :

– Indian nationality is a prerequisite, along with compliance with local/non-local status criteria as per the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974.
– Adherence to the admission rules specified by the respective universities is mandatory.
– Candidates should have completed a 3/4 year Degree course or its equivalent recognised by the UGC in the 10 + 2 + 3/4 pattern.
– For MBA, a 3/4 year degree from a recognised university or equivalent is required.
– For MCA, a 3/4 year degree with Mathematics as a subject at Intermediate or Degree level is necessary.
– Aggregate marks of 50% (45% for SC, ST, and BC categories) are required for eligibility.
– Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by relevant Government Orders.
– Degrees obtained through Distance Mode Programs must recognised by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB.
– Final year degree students are also eligible to apply for AP ICET-2025.

GENERAL INFORMATION / INSTRUCTIONS :

1. The Convener and the Chairman of APICET-2025 hold the authority to reject any candidate’s application at any stage if:
A) The application is incomplete.
B) The candidate fails to meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.
C) False or incorrect information is provided.

2. No changes, including alterations to caste/community status or category, are permissible after submitting the application. Correspondence regarding such changes will not entertained.

3. The Convener is not accountable for any failure to submit the application by the specified date and time, regardless of the reason.

4. Candidates must retain their hall ticket for presentation during the test and later for admission into the course.

5. Hall tickets should downloaded only from the website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

6. Participation in AP ICET-2024 does not guarantee automatic entry into the course for any candidate.

7. If a candidate claiming to belong to the SC/ST category is found to have provided false information at any time, the rank obtained with relaxation of minimum qualifying marks will invalidated.

8. Selection and college allotment will based on the rank obtained in the Common Entrance Test and other specified conditions.

9. Candidates will not allowed to enter the exam hall after the scheduled time on the test date.

10. Candidates are advised to practice the mock tests available on the website to become familiar with the online test format.

PREPARATION OF MERIT LIST AND ASSIGNING OF RANK IN AP ICET-2025 :

– Candidates who scored at least 25% marks in AP ICET-2025 (50 out of 200) and candidates from SC and ST categories, for whom no qualifying marks prescribed, will ranked based on their marks obtained in ICET.
– In case of a tie in marks among multiple students:
i) Priority will given to marks scored in Section-A.
ii) If the tie persists, marks obtained in Section-B will considered.
iii) If the tie still persists, the candidate’s age will taken into account, with preference given to the older candidate.
– Ranks achieved in AP ICET-2025 are applicable only for admissions into various universities, constituent, and affiliated colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2025-26.
– Any disputes arising regarding AP ICET-2025 will under the jurisdiction of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati. Only the Convener, APICET-2025, and the Secretary, APSCHE, can involved as respondents in such disputes.

Qualifying Examination :

– For MBA : A degree of 3 years’ duration from any recognized University or its equivalent, with “Mathematics” as one of the subjects at the 10th class level.
– For MCA : A degree of 3 years’ duration with “Mathematics” as one of the subjects at the Intermediate or Degree level.
(Note: Candidates who passed all subjects of a three-year degree course in one sitting are not eligible for admission into MBA or MCA courses).

Category 1: Corrections will only processed by the Convener, APICET-2024 upon verification of the valid supporting documents submitted via email.

Category 2: Changes that candidates permitted to make during the specified period {28-04-2025 to 29-04-2025 (tentative)}.
