Krafton india esports Registration : BGIS 2025 Registration Date

With a huge prize pool of ₹2 crore, Krafton India has formally announced that registration is now open for the fourth Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025. Realme is the official smartphone partner for BGIS and the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025, and the LAN finals are scheduled to take place in Kolkata. For gamers around the country, Krafton’s Esports roadmap for the first half of 2025 is jam-packed with exciting developments. On January 3, the BGIS 2025 registration website went live, and it will be active until January 19. In addition to 64 invited teams from past BGIS and BMPS competitions, 1,016 teams from the Open Qualifiers will compete in the championship.

From January 25 to February 2, in-game qualifiers are held to choose the 1,016 qualifying teams. The tournament will be reduced to 56 teams after four rounds of eliminations following the start of The Grind in February. The top eight teams will play for the title in the tournament’s quarterfinals, two semifinals, and grand finals, which are set for April 18–20.

BGIS 2025 Registrations Began Yesterday :

• Registrations for the BGIS 2025 start on January 3, 2025.
• Compete for a share of the ₹2 crore prize pool and establish yourself in BGMI Esports.
• The LAN event will occur in Kolkata, featuring intense competition.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025: Overview

Steps to Register for BGIS 2025 :

• Visit the official Krafton India Esports website and click on “Register Now.”
• Enter your phone number and verify it using the OTP sent via SMS.
• Agree to the terms and conditions, then provide your name, date of birth, email address, and create a password.
• Generate your unique Krafton India Esports ID to complete the registration.
• Add your in-game details, including UID, profile screenshot, and game role, and verify your registered email.
• In the “Tournaments” section, click on “Register Now” to form your team.
• Create a team on the “My Teams” page and invite players using their KIE ID or the phone number from registration.

Eligibility Criteria :

• Players need to be at least 16 years old.
• Indian citizenship is required.
• A BGMI account with Level 30 or higher and a rank of Platinum I or above is necessary.

In-Game Qualifiers :

• Play 15 classic matches on Erangel, Miramar, or Sanhok with your registered team.
• The best 10 matches will count based on team finishes and rankings.
• The top 1,016 teams will qualify for the online phase of BGIS, receiving the schedule via email and message.

India Series 2025 Tournament Format and Dates

In-Game Qualifiers (January 25 – February 2)

• Registered teams will compete in 15 matches.
• Points will be based on the best 10 games.
• Top 10-16 teams will advance to Round 1 of the BGIS event.

The Grind (February 5 – 23) :

• Participating Teams: 64 teams directly invited, split into four groups (A, B, C, D).
• Each group will play 24 matches to determine progression:

Round 1 (February 16 – 23)

• Total teams: 1024 (1016 from In-Game Qualifiers + 8 from Group D of The Grind).
• Teams split into 64 groups to play 6 matches each.
• Progression:
  • Top 7 teams from each group (448 teams).
  • Additional 48 teams selected from overall standings.

Round 2 (February 16 – 23)

• Total teams: 512 (divided into 32 groups).
• Each group plays 6 matches.
• Progression:
  • Top 7 teams from each group (224 teams).
  • 16 additional teams chosen from overall standings.

3rd Round (March 6 – 9)

• Total teams: 256 (240 from Round 2 + 16 from Groups B and C of The Grind).
• Teams divided into 16 groups.
• Progression:
  • Top 6 teams from each group (96 teams).
  • 16 additional teams from the overall scoreboard.

Round 4 (March 13 – 16)

• Total teams: 128 (112 from Round 3 + 16 from Groups A and B of The Grind).
• Divided into 8 groups to play 6 matches each.
• Progression:
  • Top 7 teams from each group (56 teams).
  • 16 additional squads selected for the Wildcard Stage.

Quarterfinals (March 20 – 23)

• Total teams: 64 (56 from Round 4 + 8 from Group A of The Grind).
• Progression:
  • Top 16 teams qualify for Semifinals Week 1.
  • Teams ranked 17th-64th move to the Wildcard Stage.

Wildcard Stage (March 24 – 27)

• Total teams: 64 (48 from Quarterfinals + 16 from Round 4).
• Divided into 4 groups to play 6 matches each.
• Progression: Top 16 teams from the overall standings qualify for Semifinals Week 1.

Semifinals Week 1 (March 29 – April 1)

• Total teams: 32 (16 from Quarterfinals + 16 from Wildcard).
• Divided into 4 groups in a Round Robin format, playing 12 matches each.
• Progression:
  • Top 8 teams qualify for the Grand Finals.
  • Remaining 24 teams move to Semifinals Week 2.

Semifinals Week 2 (April 3 – 6)

• Total teams: 24 (from Week 1).
• Divided into 3 groups to play across 4 days.
• Progression: Top 8 teams qualify for the Grand Finals.

Grand Finals (April 18 – 20)

• Total teams: 16 (8 each from Week 1 and Week 2 of the Semifinals).
• Teams will play 18 matches across 3 days in Kolkata.
• The ultimate winner will be crowned BGIS 2025 Champion.

• Rising Star is KRAFTON’s initiative for developing new Esports talent.
