Admission to DTU in 2025 is determined by a combination of entry and merit-based criteria. While M.A., BBA, and MBA programs are offered through national or university-level entrance tests like UCEED, GATE, CAT, MAT, and CMAT, or based on prior qualifications followed by interviews, admission to BTech programs is determined by JEE Main scores.

Exams for PhD admissions are scheduled for December 2024, and interviews are scheduled for January 2025. It is anticipated that the admissions process for the 2025–2026 academic year will begin in July 2025 and end on August 20, 2025. The official DTU portal is used for all procedures.

A) DTU UG Admission 2025 :

Undergraduate admissions at DTU will start in July 2025 for the 2025–26 academic year. The deadline for applications is 20 August 2025. Applicants should have completed their 12th grade in a relevant stream for their chosen program. Admission to bachelor’s courses will rely on CUET UG 2025 scores.

BTech Admission:

This is managed through the Joint Admission Committee (JAC) portal. A valid JEE Mains score is required for counseling.

DTU B.Tech Admission 2024 :

BBA & BA (Hons) :

These programs are available at the University School of Management & Entrepreneurship (USME) in East Delhi.

Eligibility: At least 50% in 10+2 with English required (40% for SC/ST/PWD; 45% for OBC-NCL and Defence Personnel).
Selection: Based on 10+2 marks through the CMAC portal.

Design Programs :

1. BDes :

A four-year undergraduate program with 123 seats.

Eligibility: Completion of 10+2 or equivalent.
Selection: Based on UCEED scores.
Expected Cutoff: Scores range from 73.19 to 147.24, varying by round and region.

2. MDes :

A two-year postgraduate program with 75 seats across three specializations.

B) DTU PG Admission 2025 :

Postgraduate admissions will also begin in July 2025, with applications due by 20 August 2025. Applicants must hold a related undergraduate degree. Applications can be submitted online or in person. Admission is based on entrance tests, counseling, group discussions, and personal interviews.

DTU MTech Admission 2025 :

Admission Criteria:

Decisions are based on GATE scores. A merit list is created from eligibility and entrance test results.
