The Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS)  is designed as a centralized digital platform by the Government of Gujarat. It was launched by the Department of Education, Government of Gujarat.   It aims to manage and coordinate the admission process for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Gujarat’s universities, government, grant-in-aid, and self-financed institutions. The GCAS platform also looks to replace the fragmented and decentralized admission systems all within a single-window, transparent, and efficient online system.

GCAS Registration 2025: Step-by-Step Guide

1. Log Into the Official Website:

  • Visit the official website—gcas.gujgov.edu.in.

2. Student Registration :

  • Click on the “New Registration” tab to proceed further.

  • Now enter your personal details such as:

    • Name (as per SSC mark sheet)

    • Gender

    • Mobile Number (linked with Aadhaar)

    • Email ID

    • Date of Birth

  • Complete mobile/email OTP verification and set a strong password according to the rules.

3. Enter the Application Form:

  • Educational Qualification details

  • Address and category information

  • Select your desired course, for example, BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA, etc.

  • Choose an institution according to your preference.

  • Upload all the required documents in a PDF or JPEG format.
