Income Tax Department Canteen Attendant Recruitment 2024: The Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCA), Tamil Nadu & Puducherry, Chennai, has released a notification for 25 Canteen Attendant positions. The Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCA), Tamil Nadu & Puducherry, has issued an official notification for Canteen Attendant Recruitment 2024 for 25 vacant positions. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility requirements for this position can apply online until September 22, 2024.
This position is classified as Group C and pays between Rs. 18,000 and Rs. 56,900 (Pay Level 1 according to the 7th Pay Level Commission).

Qualifications for Hiring Income Tax Canteen Attendants:
To apply for this role, you must complete all of the eligibility conditions indicated in the official notification, which are listed below:
- Educational Requirements – Candidates must have completed Matriculation (Class 10th) or an equivalent from a recognized board.
- Age Requirement: The applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 25. According to government regulations, age relaxation applies to other categories such as SC/ST, OBC, and others.(OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years, PwBD – Ten years).
- To be a Canteen Attendant, candidates must have completed 10th grade from a government-recognized board.

Selection Procedures for Income Tax Canteen Attendant Recruitment:
- Application Review: First, all application forms will be reviewed and examined for eligibility to determine whether or not the candidate is qualified for the position.
- Shortlisting of Candidates: Following that, 500 candidates (20 eligible candidates for each vacancy and category) will be chosen from all eligible applications based on the percentage of total marks obtained in the Matriculation or equivalent exam for the next round of selection procedure.
- Written Exam: Shortlisted candidates will sit for the written exam on October 6, 2024.
- Final Selection: Following completion of the Document, candidates will be selected for positions as Canteen Attendants depending on the outcomes of their written exams.

Total questions: 100.

Total time duration: two hours (120 minutes).
One mark is deducted for every wrong response.
