The registration process for JEXPO 2025 has been initiated by WBSCTE on their official website, scvtwb.in. Aspiring students aiming for admission to diploma courses can now complete the JEXPO 2025 application form online. Those who have either passed or appeared for the 10+2 examination from a recognised board are eligible to apply for JEXPO 2025.  The counselling for WBJEE, WB JEXPO, and VOCLET for the year 2025 in West Bengal is set to commence shortly. Jexpo / Volcet Admission Process :

Step 1: Online Registration

– Enter Application Form Number in the “New Registration Section”.
– Click the “Proceed” button.
– Receive an OTP (One Time Password) on the registered mobile.
– Enter OTP and submit.
– Edit Personal Details if needed.
– Set Password of choice and click “Update” button.
– Confirm modified personal details.
– Proceed to choice filling after confirmation.

Step 2: Student Login

Enter Application Form Number and Password.
– Click ‘Login’ for access to My Page.

Step 3: Choice Filling

– Navigate to the choice filling section.
– Add preferred “Institute-Branch” combinations.
– Save choices and take a printout.
– Edit choices until registration closure.
– Lock choices once finalised.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

– Check allotment in the result section.
– Opt for auto-up-gradation or accept allotted seat.
– Await next phase if no seat is allotted.
– Receive allotment results via SMS.

Step 5: Printing of Allotment Letter

– Print Final Allotment Letter for immediate admission.
– Pay Final Seat Booking Fee for allotted seat.
– Carefully select options for auto-up-gradation.

Step 6: Payment of Provisional or Final Seat Booking Fee

– Pay Final Seat Booking Fee for immediate admission.
– Pay Provisional Seat Booking Fee for auto-up-gradation.
– Non-payment results in cancellation of candidature.

Step 7: Sending of Documents for Verification

– Send scanned copies of specified documents via mail.
– Pay admission fees separately via NEFT/RTGS.
– Verification of documents is mandatory.
– Last date for document submission specified in Allotment Letter.
– Failure to submit documents leads to cancellation of candidature.

JEXPO/ VOLCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria :

Nationality : Applicants must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of West Bengal.

Qualifying Exam :

– Candidates should have passed or appeared in the 10th standard board exam or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
– Minimum aggregate marks of 35% are required, including English, Physical Science/Science, and Mathematics.

Age Limit : Candidates should be born on or before July 1, 2009.

Additional Eligibility : Candidates appearing in the 10th standard board exam in 2024 are also eligible to apply for JEXPO 2024.

– Access the official website of West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTE).

– Proceed by clicking on the “Submit” button.

Details of Reservation :

Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) Reservation :
– 22% of seats for SC and 6% for ST in Government and Government Sponsored Polytechnics.
– If ST seats are vacant, they may be filled with SC candidates.
Physically Challenged (Handicapped) Reservation:
– 5% of total intake capacity in Government and Government Sponsored Polytechnics.
– If vacant, seats may convert to General category.
OBC-A and OBC-B Reservation : As per Government Order.
Gender-Based Reservations :
– Women’s Polytechnics in Kolkata and Chandannagar exclusively for females.
– Ramakrishna Mission Shilpapitha, Belgharia exclusively for males.
– **Reservation under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme**:
– 5% of intake capacity filled on supernumerary basis.
District Quota (DQ) :
– 20% reserved for respective district/zone candidates.
– Remaining 80% for State Quota.
Female Quota (FQ) in District Quota : 25% of District Quota seats reserved for female candidates.
Land Looser Quota (LLQ) :
– 2% of total seats in Government and Government Sponsored Polytechnics.
