Diploma holders or B.Sc. graduates

B.B.A. Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG.

MCA CUET PG by NTA. Intake – 75
The candidate should have passed BCA/ bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or equivalent degree OR passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with minimum passing mark in Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level AND obtained minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.
MBA Malaviya Entrance Test by MMMUT. Intake – 75
The candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from any University of India as recognized by UGC with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.
M.Sc. Physics CUET PG by NTA. Intake – 38
The candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree in science stream of minimum three years duration from any University of India as recognized by UGC. The candidates must have passed qualifying examination with Physics as a subject for all the three years and with mathematics as another subject for at least two years and obtained minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.
M.Sc. Maths CUET PG by NTA. Intake – 37
The candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree in science stream of minimum three years duration from any University of India as recognized by UGC. The candidates must have passed qualifying examination with Mathematics as a subject for all the three years and obtained minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.
M.Sc. Chemistry CUET PG by NTA. Intake – 38
The candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s degree in science stream of minimum three years duration from any University of India as recognized by UGC. The candidates must have passed qualifying examination with Chemistry as a subject for all the three years and obtained minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.
M.Tech. GATE and Malaviya Entrance Test (MET). —
The admission to M.Tech. programmes shall be made through GATE and Malaviya Entrance Test(MET). GATE qualified candidates will be given first preference and MET qualified candidates shall be admitted only against those M.Tech. seats which shall remain vacant after admitting GATE qualified candidates.

Mmmut Ph.D. Admissions 2025 :

Full Time PhD :

1. Regular PhD seats are available with fellowship under the Research cum Teaching Fellowship scheme.
2. Candidates opting for the research cum teaching fellowship will have to select this option during counseling and appear for an interview.
3. Regular PhD candidates will share a limited teaching load in their respective departments and receive fellowship under this scheme.
4. The weightage of marks in the Malaviya Entrance Test and interview will be in the ratio of 70% and 30%, respectively, for preparing the merit in a particular specialisation.
5. The total number of candidates called for the interview in each specialization will be three times the available seats.
6. Eligible candidates will be admitted based on cumulative merit (both test and interview) and the availability of faculty members in the particular specialization.

Admission through National Level Test :

a. Candidates who have qualified a National Level test which entitles them for the award of Senior/Junior Research Fellowship or any other Fellowship may be admitted to the Full-Time Ph.D. programme.
b. PG pursuing students who have qualified above the national level test for the purpose of scholarship may also be admitted to the Full-Time Ph.D. programme.
c. Such candidates will be selected based on a personal interview without appearing in the University’s Ph.D. Admission Test, provided they fulfill the eligibility norms.

Part Time PhD :

i. Part-Time PhD is available in all departments of the university.
ii. Eligible candidates include those working in a recognized research center, regular/contractual faculty members of the university, and employees working in government/government-aided/private engineering colleges/universities/industries/public sector organizations.
iii. Separate notification and application form for written examination/interview shall be issued by the university for part-time candidates.

Ph.D. under Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) :

1. The university offers Ph.D. under the Quality Improvement Programme approved by A.I.C.T.E.
2. Total intake for Ph.D. under QIP is 8 seats, with 2 seats available in each of the four disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

Eligibility for Ph.D : Candidates holding Bachelor and master’s degrees in Engineering/Technology/Science/Management or equivalent in the relevant discipline with 1st Division in master’s degree are eligible for admission to the Ph.D. Programme.

Mmmut  Counselling Process 2025 :

1. Online Registration for Counselling : Use CUET(PG)-2023 application form number, mobile number, and email id for registration on the university website.

2. Payment of Counseling Fee :Pay the counselling Fee of Rs. 2500/- (non-refundable) using the online payment gateway after successful registration.

3. Choice Filling (Only for MTech/BTech-II) : Fill the choices in order of preference for admission in the applied course.

4. Choice Locking (Only for MTech/BTech-II) :

  • Check and rearrange the order of preference of choices if needed before locking them.
  • Once locked, choices cannot be changed.
  • Print a hard copy of the locked choices for future reference.

5. Merit List and Seat Allotment : Seat allotment will be based on the Merit list and final locked choices.

6. To FREEZE or FLOAT (For MTech/BTech-II only) : Submit the choice to FREEZE or FLOAT the allotted seat after seat allotment.

7. Uploading of Documents :Upload all required relevant documents online after paying the counselling fee.

8. Document Verification : All relevant and original documents will be verified at the university within the stipulated time. Candidates must bring one set of self-attested copies of required documents.

9. Deposition of Confirmation Fee : Take a printout of the provisional allotment letter from the login after seat allotment. Pay the complete Confirmation fee of Rs. 40,000.00 online within the stipulated time mentioned in the allotment letter.

10. Deposition of remaining University Fee : Deposit the remaining university fee after deducting the confirmation fee before registration/reporting for the academic session 2023-24.

11. Physical Document Verification at University : All relevant and original documents will be verified at the time of physical reporting at the university. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of provisional admission and forfeiture of the university fee.
