TNEA 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Prospective candidates aiming for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) must complete the registration process before the TNEA 2025 application form deadline. The authority will then publish the TNEA rank list 2025 based on applicants’ Class 12 marks in online mode. Subsequently, candidates can check the TNEA 2025 cutoff on the official website. The TNEA counselling dates 2024 will also be made available on the official website by the authorities.

TNEA application form 2025 :

1. Registration: Begin by visiting the official website – tneaonline.org and initiating the TNEA 2025 registration process. Provide essential details such as your mobile number and email address. Upon completion, TNEA login credentials will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number.

TNEA 2025 Eligibility Criteria :

General Eligibility

– Candidates who have completed classes 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 from Tamil Nadu do not need to submit any nativity proof.

– Candidates who have completed classes 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 from states other than Tamil Nadu need to submit a nativity certificate.

– Children or wards of Central Government Employees serving continually in Tamil Nadu for the last 5 years are required to submit parents’ certificates of employment.

– Proof of parents’ employment must be submitted by candidates if their parents are employed under All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers.

– Identification certificate from headquarters must be submitted by any Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee applicant.

Age Limit

– There is no age limit. However, marine engineering applicants must not be older than 25 years.

– Applicants must have completed class 12/HSC from any recognized board.

8.  Enrolment – Subsequently, candidates who receive seat allocations in the final round must proceed to the designated institute to pay the admission fee and secure their seats.

Upon receiving a seat allotment, candidates can choose from the following options :

Accept the offer as it is.

Confirm the offer while also indicating a desire for upward movement. Upward movement entails a candidate’s willingness to switch to a different allocated seat and continue participating in subsequent counselling rounds.

Reject the offer but express interest in upward movement.

Withdraw from TNEA Counselling altogether.

In the event that a candidate is not allocated a seat according to their preferences, they have the following alternatives :
