Understanding the 40% and 60% Route for NSS :

The admission process for New Sainik Schools (NSS) has two main paths: the 40% route and the 60% route. These paths decide how candidates are chosen for open seats in the approved NSSs.

40% Route for Admission to Approved NSS :

• Eligibility: Open to all candidates eligible to take the AISSEE Admissions depend on the rank achieved in the All India Merit List of AISSEE 2025.
