CHECK AGE ELIGIBILITY FOR KVS ONLINE BALVATIKA & CLASS 1-10 ASMISSION
To enroll in Class I, a child must be 6 years old by March 31st of the academic year (including those born on April 1st).
For Kendriya Vidyalayas, the age limits for admissions in different classes are as follows:
NOTE: If a kid has disabilities, the Principal may choose to lower the maximum age limit by two years.
- If a student is applying for admission to Class XI in the year that they pass the Class X test, there is no upper age limit. As long as the student has continued to study continuously after graduating from Class XI, there will also be no upper or lower age limit for admission to Class XII.
- 55% marks are important in Class XI, for admission to Class XII.
- Is the same as the 55% marks required in Class X, for admission to Class XI.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA ADMISSION
- Registration forms must provided at no cost by the Principal. On the other hand, when the online admission site is operational, Class I registration will take place online.
- For a Class I proof of age certificate in the form of a birth certificate from the register of births authorized by law. This would contain birth certificates from the Notified Area Council/ Military Hospital records, services records of defense personnel, as well as certifications from municipality and municipal corporations.
- The birthdate listed on the transfer certificate from a school approved by the State Education Department would be acceptable for other classes. After verification, the parent should receive their original birth certificate back. Without a school transfer certificate, admissions up to class VIII may made as long as the child meets all other requirements and has a government-issued birth certificate.
- Service Certificate – Number of transfers in the previous 7 years, duly signed and stamped by the Head of the office in BLOCK LETTERS with name and designation.
- Proof of Residence.
