Maharashtra SESD 11th Admission 2024

The Maharashtra SESD Admission 2024 have started for students in regions in the state. The five regions are Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, and Amravati. It is also popularly known as the FYJC Admissions.

The School Education and Sports Department manages online admissions for Class 11 across all these five regions of Maharashtra. This process covers all institutions affiliated with the Maharashtra board. To apply, visit the official website, 11thadmission.org.in.

How are the FYJC and SESD linked to each other ?

The admission process for First Year Junior College (F.Y.J.C.) is centrally conducted online by the School Education and Sports Department (SESD), under the Government of Maharashtra (as per GRM/HSC170944/09 U MASH I dated 28-06-2009), through the SESD website.

How to register for SESD 11th Admission 2024 ?

1. Visit the official website of SESD 11th Admission 2024-25 portal at 11thadmission.org.in (old) – New : education.maharashtra.gov.in

2. Once on the homepage, locate and click on the appropriate link for the 11th Admission Form 2024.

3. On the new window that appears, click on “New Registration.”

4. Fill out the registration form with all the required and accurate information.

5. After completing the form, verify your mobile number through the OTP process.

6. Upon successful verification, log in to your account using your username and password.

7. After logging in, fill out the Mumbai 11th Admission 2024-25 online form on the portal.

8. Finally, attach all the required documents, and your admission process will be completed.

What is FCFS Policy ?

The School Education and Sports Department (SESD) has implemented the First Come, First Serve (FCFS) policy for FYJC admissions. This policy allows students who were unable to secure seats in earlier rounds to apply for admission. FCFS is designed to provide an opportunity for such applicants to secure admission.

How to Apply for FYJC Admission via the FCFS Round:

1. Eligibility Verification:  Only verified students are eligible for the FCFS round. If a student’s online admission form for 11th standard is not verified, they can get it certified by the guidance centRE and then participate in the FCFS round.

2. Accessing the Website:

1. Visit the website 11thadmission.org.in.
2. Select the region for the FCFS round.

3. Login: Enter your login credentials, including your login ID and password.

4. Monitoring Application Status: After logging in, students can monitor their data and the status of their application form on the online dashboard.

5. Participation in FCFS: elect the ‘Participate in FCFS’ option.

6. College Selection:

1. Enter the stream code or UDISE code, or specify the stream and medium, and then search for the college.
2. Review the fees and available seats at the colleges on the list.

7. Application Submission: Click the ‘Apply Now’ option to apply to your preferred college.

8. Confirmation: Confirm the allotment by clicking the ‘OK’ button when a window appears.

9. Print Allocation: Print out the allocation for the admissions process.

10. Re-Application: If a student receives a pop-up notification indicating that they have not been assigned to any college, they can re-apply for another college where a vacancy is available using the same approach.

11. Admission Process: After checking their allotment status, students must ensure their admission before the last date by visiting the respective college and completing the admission process.

12. Allocation Cancellation: Students can cancel the allocation by clicking ‘Yes’ on the ‘Cancel FCFS Allotment’ button if needed.
