Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G): What is it?

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin was introduced by the Indian government. By the Ministry of Rural Development, as a means of guaranteeing the rural impoverished access to cheap homes.

This redesigned rural housing program, which was conceived with the goal of “Housing for All,” was formally launched on November 20, 2016, and it has been in operation since April 1. Indira Awas Yojana was its previous name.
