The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) administers the Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical, and Allied Sciences Undergraduate Exam, known as JENPAS UG. Scheduled to occur on June 30, 2024, this state-level entrance exam in West Bengal accepts applications from March 22 to April 22, 2024. April 22 2024 is the last day for submitting applications to JENPAS UG Counselling.

JENPAS UG 2024 Application Process :

Registration :

– Fill in personal details: name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, identification type and number, present and permanent address, mobile number, email ID, etc.
– Create a password, choose a security question/answer, review, and submit the registration.
– Note down the application number, password, and security question/answer. Use the “Forgot Password” option if needed.

Filling out the Application Form :

– Provide information on domicile, category, PWD status, family income status, religion, nationality, academic details, etc.
– Select the option for Paper-I only, Paper-II only, or both Paper-I and Paper-II.
– Choose zones of examinations in order of preference and submit the application.

Uploading of Images :

– Upload recent color photograph (10 to 200 kB) and signature (4 to 30 kB) in JPG/JPEG format.
– If required, upload documents such as certificates/marksheets in PDF format (50 to 300 kB).

Payment of Examination Fees :

– Pay the JENPAS UG examination fees via Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.
– For Paper-I or Paper-II only: Rs. 500 (Rs. 400 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates), plus applicable bank charges.
– For both Paper-I and Paper-II: Rs. 1800 (Rs. 1650 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates), plus applicable bank charges.

Confirmation Page :

– After completing all steps, download the ‘Confirmation Page’ to confirm the application’s completion.

JENPAS UG Application Correction Window :

– Correction window available from April 24 to April 26 on the official website.
– Candidates can make corrections to their application during this period. No requests for corrections will be entertained beyond this period.

JENPAS UG 2024 Eligibility Criteria :

  • Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of India.
  • Academic Qualification: Candidates must have already passed or be appearing in the class 12 examination in the (10+2) system in 2024.
  • Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024, meaning they should have been born on or before December 31, 2007.

JENPAS UG 2024 Admit Card :

– The JENPAS UG 2024 admit card will be available online from June 20 to June 30.
– Candidates need to download and print a hard copy of the admit card to bring to the examination center.
– Follow these steps to download the JENPAS UG 2024 admit card:

1. Visit the official website wbjeeb.nic.in and navigate to the JENPAS UG 2024 tab.
2. Click on the “admit card” link.
3. Log in using your user ID and password.
4. The JENPAS UG 2024 admit card will appear on the screen.
5. Verify all the details mentioned on the admit card.
6. Download the admit card and take a printout for future reference.

Allocation of Examination Centre :

a) Examination center allocation is based on the candidate’s chosen zones. However, in unavoidable situations, candidates may be placed in a zone different from their preference. The Board’s decision on allocation is final, and no requests for center changes will be accepted.

b) If any examination zone lacks sufficient candidates or encounters unavoidable circumstances, it may be dropped. In such cases, affected candidates will be assigned an alternative examination zone.

JENPAS UG 2024 Exam Pattern :

– The examination comprises two papers: Paper-I and Paper-II.
– Paper-II specifically caters to admissions in the BHA course, while Paper-I is designated for other courses.
– At the time of application, candidates have the option to apply for either Paper-I, Paper-II, or both.

JENPAS UG 2024 Result :

– The WBJEEB will release the JENPAS UG 2024 result in the form of a rank card.
– The rank card will contain all relevant ranks and scores.
– Candidates can access and download their rank card by logging in with their passwords.
– If any candidate has concerns regarding their obtained score, they can raise a query via email (to [email protected]) within 24 hours of the result declaration. They should attach copies of the rank card, question booklet number, series code, and self-calculation of the question-wise and total score.

Tie-breaking Rules for Paper-I :

1. Less negative marks in total.
2. More positive marks in Biology.
3. More positive marks in Chemistry.
4. More positive marks in Physics.
5. More positive marks in English.
6. More positive marks in Biology and Chemistry taken together.
7. More positive marks in Biology and Physics taken together.
8. Less negative marks in Biology and Chemistry taken together.
9. Less negative marks in Biology and Physics taken together.
10. If ties persist after applying the above rules, they will be resolved based on the candidates’ date of birth (DOB), with the older candidate given preference. If the tie persists, preference will be given to the candidate with the lower application number.

Tie-breaking Rules for Paper-II :

1. Less negative marks in total.
2. More positive marks in Physical Science.
3. More positive marks in English.
4. More positive marks in Logical Reasoning.
5. More positive marks in Physical Science and English taken together.
6. More positive marks in Physical Science and Logical Reasoning taken together.
7. Less negative marks in Physical Science and English taken together.
8. Less negative marks in Physical Science and Logical Reasoning taken together.
9. If ties persist after applying the above rules, they will be resolved based on the candidates’ date of birth (DOB), with the older candidate given preference. If the tie persists, preference will be given to the candidate with the lower application number.

JENPAS UG 2024 Counselling :

WBJEEB will issue a distinct notification outlining the JENPAS UG 2024 counselling, seat allotment, and admission procedure. The counselling process for JENPAS will be available on the Board’s website shortly after the result announcement.

Before the counselling and allotment, details regarding the availability of seats for various courses and institutes, provided by the competent authorities, will also be published. All document verifications submitted during the application process will be conducted during counselling.
